In a recent interview with the New York Times, President Trump was asked if there were any limits on his global powers? Mr. Trump said, “Yeah, there is one thing. My own morality. My own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop me.”
Morality is a system of principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior. Synonyms are virtue, integrity, honesty, goodness, ethics, character, and rightness.
If the only check on President Trump on his power both globally and domestically is his own morality, the United States and the world are in serious trouble. It is time for the current members of our legislative and judicial branches to examine their own morality and do their constitutional duty to stop the immoral actions and policies of President Trump. Do what you know is right.
