A little tolerance goes a long ways
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Recognizing that tolerance does not imply advocacy, the only thing that bothers me about all the talk about same-sex marriage is all the talk about same-sex marriage. I wish those who are for it would stop flaunting it, and I wish those against it would crawl out of their time capsule long enough to see that the dike already has been breached.
Why is it that the people who do not want the government to intervene in anything that is going to cost them another nickel are the same people who want the government to intervene with full force in anything that supports their own moralistic view of the world?
