A commitment, not just a checkered shirt

Brent Oleson is the candidate I support for Linn County Supervisor. He is the one person on the board who is passionate about conservation and the environment. He was instrumental in proposing voters in our county have a chance to vote for more water quality and public land spending, which we approved overwhelmingly.
Like all supervisors, Brent votes on road repair and public services and everything that comes before the board, but he has distinguished himself by choosing to work on conservation issues. His work with the National Association of Counties and the State Association of Counties is on boards that work on land use. He serves on the Linn County Solid Waste Agency. He has chosen those particular positions to gain more knowledge on the area of environmental quality, an issue that is essential for our and our children's future.
Voting for Brent can't guarantee good water quality and good parks in our county, but this candidate will try his best to get us there.
