We all own the power to break a record for the Red Kettle Giving for the Salvation Army. They are a constant, positive example in our community. We need them more than ever going into 2023. Wouldn’t it be great if he Salvation Army collected too much money?
So, in the next few weeks, please drop a $20 bill in one of the famous red kettles, just to make an enormous difference. There is a huge permanent red kettle at the big Hy-Vee on Highway 100 and Edgewood Road. Every Kwik Star gas station has a collection box right at the register. If you are a child or if you have a child, have them donate all their coins.
Our Salvation Army is doing amazing things every day, seven days a week.
Just for fun, let’s all put in a $20 bill and watch what happens. Thank you in advance.
