Women’s basketball: Examining the 2025-26 Big Ten race as conference play resumes Sunday.
ECHL hockey players went on strike Friday after attempts at negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement between the ECHL and Professional Hockey Players’ Association failed. The Iowa Heartlanders had their scheduled home game against Bloomington at Xtream Arena postponed, with weekend games Saturday and Sunday on the road against the Bison very much up in the air.
The Hawkeyes will have a new starting quarterback next season, and Iowa doesn’t plan on taking one from the transfer portal. Instead, offensive coordinator has been working with Iowa’s two backups to help determine who might get the starting job next season.
