Some penguins poop pink, and more super poop facts

According to researchers at the University of Iowa, between all the people and all the animals in the state of Iowa, Iowa produces more poop than almost any state in the nation.
In an article titled '50 Shades of Brown,” UI researcher Christopher Jones wrote, 'Just to ensure clarity, in Iowa, we are generating as much fecal waste in every square mile as 2,979 people.
For reference, Iowa City is the second-most densely-populated city in Iowa and has 2,775 people per square mile.”
Here are some more poop facts that will be sure to keep your bowels and your mind busy.

' Badgers dig long pits for their poops and these toilets serve as a warning to other badgers to stay away. Kind of like a poop fence.
' Wombat poop is square.
' Most of the sand on the beaches of the South Pacific are made of parrotfish poop. Scientists estimate that a parrotfish can poop out more than 2,000 pounds of sand each year.
' Some penguins poop pink poop.
' Penguins can also projectile poop. That means they can poop their poop like a watergun.
' A sloth poops only three times a week.
' Vultures and storks poop on their feet to keep themselves cool in the hot sun.
