Xavier High School Math Club takes first and third place in Iowa Falls competition

On January 12th the Xavier High School Math Club attended a mathematics contest at Alden High School in Iowa Falls. In addition to numerous individual awards, the varsity team consisting of James Krouse, Sarah Chicchelly, Daniel Pape, Grace Busse, Bryce Volk and Jacob Schmitt placed first and the junior varsity team of Edward Krouse, Matthew Kirpes, and Megan Korbel placed third. Volk, Chicchelly, and Pape qualified for the state competition, bringing the total number of Xavier students who qualify to seven.
