Xavier freshman accepted into Joffrey Ballet summer program

Xavier Freshman, Emma Houser, has been accepted into the Joffrey Ballet School's Summer Intensive Program. She has been accepted to both of Joffrey New York's Ballet Intensive and Young Dancer Programs. Emma was also accepted to Joffrey South's Advanced Trainee and Junior Trainee Programs in Atlanta, as well as Joffrey West's Dance Intensive in Los Angeles. Emma has decided to participate in both the Joffrey New York's Ballet Intensive and Joffrey South's Advanced Trainee Programs this summer.

Emma dances with Kate Carol and Company Dance in Iowa City. She is a member of the Essence Company and dances in a Pre-Professional Showcase trio. In addition to her class instruction and rehearsals, Emma is a Teaching Assistant for three classes. Emma is on Xavier's Speech Team and is a member of the Spanish and Key Clubs.
