TONIGHT: Cedar Rapids school board to discuss new administrative building

The Cedar Rapids school board will hear an update on the district's new Educational Service Center at tonight's board meeting.
Board members will receive an update on the project, with emphasis on the funding. There also will be an overview of the eventual disposal or use of district facilities impacted by the flood.
The board unanimously voted in November to build new administrative facilities at 2933 Ellis Rd. NW. The construction will replace buildings damaged by the June 2008 flood.
Tonight's meeting begins at 5 p.m. It will be held in room 305 at the ESC @ Kingston.
