The Iowa City school district is seeking nominations
IOWA CITY - The Iowa City school district is seeking nominations for four parents to sit on its redistricting committee.
The 31-member committee will meet five times between mid-November and February and will make a recommendation to the school board on boundary changes and enrollment issues.
The committee will work with RSP and Associates, a consulting firm hired by the district.
Interested parents are to call the district's administrative offices, (319) 688-1000, or e-mail redistricting@iccsd.k12.ia.us. The deadline for nominations is noon Oct. 26.
