Summit Schools Presents 'A Race to the Finish'

Summit Schools' Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students put their creative talents on display on Tuesday evening in their production of “A Race to the Finish: The Story of the Tortoise and the Hare”.

The performance was filled with singing and joy as the students presented the play they worked so hard to perfect. Practicing at home and school included mastering their speaking parts as well as learning each song.

“Seeing young children confidently pronounce their lines into a microphone in from of an audience is something that many adults would find difficult.

It is clear these students are developing skills necessary to be well-rounded citizens and they are very proud of their accomplishments,” said Sheri Jeffery, parent of a Summit Kindergarten student. Watching the faces in the audience, it was evident that their families were proud also.
