‘Scripture on the Hill’ offered at Mount Mercy University

Mount Mercy University will host “Scripture on the Hill” on Wednesday evenings beginning June 6 and running until June 27, at 7:00 p.m. each evening in the Busse Library Curriculum Center (lower level, Busse Center).
This year's Scripture on the Hill will invite participants to interpret the Gospel according to St. John as a Work of Mercy, communicating new and abundant life to the believing reader. The four-session workshop is open to Mount Mercy students and community members seeking a deeper understanding of the Scriptures. Registration fee is $60, waived for current Mount Mercy students, employees and Sisters of Mercy.

Prologue, New Creation
Jesus feeds his followers both through his revelation and his Eucharistic flesh and blood
Week 2 | June 13, John 5-12:
The Replacement of Old Testament Feasts – The Raising of Lazarus and Its Aftermath
Week 3 | June 20, John 13-17:
The Last Supper – Jesus' Last Discourse
Week 4 | June 27, John 18-21:
Jesus' Passion, Death, and Resurrection –The Epilogue
