Roosevelt Elementary to celebrate 80th birthday Saturday
On Saturday, May 14, Roosevelt Elementary will be hosting an 80
th
birthday party for the school.
The party will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. on the east side of Roosevelt Elementary School, with a special musical program at 3:30pm. The public is invited to attend and learn more about Roosevelt's rich history and hear music by Roosevelt students and alumni.
Parking will be available off Benton Street and Greenwood Drive.
In honor of the anniversary, DVDs of Roosevelt will be available for sale for $5 plus $3 shipping. To order a DVD. visit
