Cedar Rapids School District representatives participated in a live chat Friday regarding the school board's recent decision to close Polk and Monroe schools and realign district boundaries.
Chat participants included Marcia Hughes, Community Relations Supervisor; Mary Ellen Maske, Executive Administrator of Education; and Mike Gumm, Shive Hattery Project Manager, who can answer questions regarding the district's new Educational Leadership and Support Center on Edgewood Road NW.
