Power restored at Linn-Mar High School after outage

UPDATE: Power has been restored at Linn-Mar High School after a power outage at the school earlier today.
The power went out around 10:55 a.m., according to district spokesperson Laura Mallicoat, and also brought down phone and Internet access at the school. It was restored just after noon today.
Alliant Energy spokesman Scott Drzycimski said the outage was caused by an electrical device at the school that would not close properly, causing the Linn-Mar system to keep "tripping out."
