Power restored at College Community schools, but more outages possible
UPDATE: All power has been restored to College Community schools, after an outage of about 20 minutes impacted all but one of the district's school buildings.
The outage was caused by heavy wind and rain currently passing through the region.
Alliant Energy has informed the district that there may be further temporary disruptions of power throughout the day due to ongoing high winds.
