The Iowa City school board Sunday night did not come to a decision on whom to hire as the district's next superintendent.
Or, as board President Patti Fields put it, members have not eliminated any of the three candidates.
The board met in closed session with the goal of picking a superintendent. It will decide today whether it wants to hold another such session Tuesday night, Fields said.
The finalists interviewed last week were Stephen Murley, superintendent of the Wausau school district in Wisconsin; Brad Meeks, superintendent of the Farmington district in Minnesota; and Mark Bezek, superintendent of the Elk River district in Minnesota.
