Mount Mercy University is celebrating the commitment of its Board of Trustees to the university during the annual Trustees Week October 22 – 26. Trustees will have an opportunity to engage with faculty, staff and students in the classroom as well as other campus activities.
Throughout the week trustees gain a better understanding of the work of the Mount Mercy University faculty and staff, while students benefit by gaining an increased awareness of the value and service trustees provide to the university.
The week kicked off with a reception for trustees, faculty and staff on Monday, October 22. Employees had the opportunity to become better acquainted with board members while also expressing appreciation for their service to the institution. Trustees will also participate in classes during the week for further insight into the classroom experience. The week will conclude with the annual Aquinas Lecture on Thursday, October 25, with keynote Abbot John Klassen.
“Our Board of Trustees provides invaluable insight and service to Mount Mercy University, and we are grateful for their commitment to our institution,” said Mount Mercy President Christopher Blake.
