Mount Mercy enrollment numbers up compared to spring 2009

CEDAR RAPIDS - Spring enrollment at Mount Mercy College increased 5.6 percent this year, compared to spring 2009.
Total spring enrollment is 1,671, including traditional, transfer, adult and graduate students.
Mount Mercy has seen enrollment increases in adult and graduate programs. The college recently added two new graduate programs in nursing and counseling, joining popular graduate programs in business and education.
“Meeting the needs of all student demographics, regardless of what stage they are in, is central to Mount Mercy's mission of serving the community through all aspects of academia,” President Christopher Blake said.
