Mold cleared from Iowa City Regina classrooms; special deals offered for students

UPDATE: The mold seen in classrooms at Regina Catholic Education Center in Iowa City has been removed and the school year will start on Monday, President Carol Trueg said.
But the elementary school's open house has been moved from today to 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Trueg said in an e-mail message to parents. The preschool open house and junior-senior high orientation will occur as scheduled on Friday.

Par-Tee Zone has offered free play for Regina students from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, as long as they are accompanied by an adult, Trueg said. Regina students will pay half price ($3.50) for admission to the
Iowa Children's Museum the next two days.
