'Miracle Treats' to benefit UI Children's Hospital July 26

Ice cream lovers can help patients at University of Iowa Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network during the fifth annual "DQ Miracle Treat Day" on Thursday, July 26.

Proceeds from the sale of every Blizzard that day will benefit UI Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network. Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals.

Those wishing to participate but can't make it to a Dairy Queen on July 26 may contact Children's Miracle Network to purchase a $5 medium Blizzard coupon redeemable at participating locations through Aug. 26.

Since 1984, Dairy Queen has raised over $90 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals – including $5 million in 2011.
