Marion school board to talk budget tonight

Marion Independent school board members are scheduled to receive an update on the district's financial outlook for next year and review a list of cost-cutting suggestions at a 4:30 p.m. work session today.
The board also is planning to review a preliminary draft of a proposed school calendar, also for 2010-11.
The work session will be held in the Marion district's administrative boardroom, 777 S. 15th St.
