Linn-Mar Service Award Recipients

The Linn-Mar Community School District held its All Staff Recognition on May 10. Staff members who have served the district five years or more were honored along with 18 retirees.

The Shirley Pantini Equity Award was presented to Lisa Klein, English Language Learner teacher. And the Linn-Mar Education Association presented its annual awards. Ivan Gentry, High School Special Education Teacher, received the Educator of the Year award. Larry Gass, Excelsior Middle School Math Teacher, was awarded Member of the Year. Sony Deke was honored with the Friend of Education award.

The District is hosting an open house for retirees on Wednesday, May 26 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. in the Upper Commons of Linn-Mar High School. The public is welcome to attend.
