Iowa Wesleyan College names new president

Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant has named a new president, to start this summer.
The college's board of trustees selected Steven E. Titus as the new president, officials announced this week. Titus comes from Saint Mary's University in Winona, Minn., where he is senior vice president of university advancement.
Titus served as president of Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Neb., from 2002 to 2007 and also has served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps in Europe and Washington D.C.
He has a bachelor's degree in business administration/organizational behavior at Southwest Minnesota State University, his juris doctorate degree from Marquette University Law School and his doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Virginia.
