Iowa journalism school director interviewing at North Carolina
The University of Iowa's journalism school director interviewed today for the journalism dean position at the University of North Carolina, according to The Daily Tar Heel campus newspaper.
David Perlmutter has been director of the UI School of Journalism and Mass Communication since June 2009. He came from the University of Kansas.
North Carolina officials are interviewing three finalists in the coming weeks for the deanship of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, according to the campus newspaper.
