Iowa City school district to have open house for new administrative office

The public is invited to an open house Dec. 1 to tour the Iowa City school district's new administrative headquarters.

The Educational Services Center is at 1725 N. Dodge St., which is the former home of the Iowa City Press-Citizen newspaper.

The open house lasts from 4-6 p.m., with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m.

The school district last year sold its administrative office building at 509 S. Dubuque St. to the University of Iowa for $4.5 million.
