Iowa City school district has preschool openings

IOWA CITY - There are still some openings at Pre-School programs offered through the Iowa City school district.
These programs are open to 4-year-olds and offer experienced early childhood state licensed teachers, comprehensive district curriculum and readiness activities for Kindergarten. Additional staff is available to increase individual participation, ongoing assessments and communication with parents. Some programs offer “no fee” slots.
- Garner Elementary– Full day, M-F, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. – 688-1190
- Van Allen Elementary – Full day, M-F, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. – 688-1185
- Roosevelt Elementary – part day, M-F, 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. – 688-1155
- KidTalk, at Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Center (part day, M,T,W,F, 12:15 to 3 p.m. – 688-1000)
