IOWA CITY - The Iowa City school board will hold a special meeting at 8:30 a.m. Friday to talk about its search for a new superintendent.
The board wants to develop the search process with staff from Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, the consultant the board recently hired (see Pg. 5 on the previous link) to help with the search.
Superintendent Lane Plugge has announced he'll leave the district at the end of the school year for a job in western Iowa.
Also Friday, the board plans to review the progress of the redistricting process.
