CEDAR RAPIDS -- The Career Services department of Kirkwood Community College will host its Fall Career Fair Tuesday, Nov. 8.
More than 55 Corridor employers will be on hand to talk with students, recent graduates, alumni and the general public from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the third floor of Iowa Hall on the main Kirkwood Campus.
Career Services Director Danielle Ebaugh says the fair has shown a big increase in public interest and participation from previous years.
“Employers are coming from neighboring states as well as all over east central Iowa. We know this fair will help job-seekers make some important networking connections,” said Ebaugh. “Every year some of these employers keep coming back because they continue to have success finding good employees at the Career Fair.”
Because many of these companies are looking to hire employees now or in the future, Ebaugh encourages attendees to dress like it's an interview and bring copies of their resumes.
