Creative requests

Once upon a time, men asked women to marry them.
Normally they didn't ask in a very special or significant way. Usually they just got down on a knee and asked.
Times have changed and now, not only do you propose for marriage, but teenagers are proposing - or asking - their prom and homecoming dates in special ways.
At North Cedar High School and many others, homecoming is a lasting memory for the students. Being creative in your request is happening in many schools with boys are asking girls and girls are asking boys in memorable ways.
After a recent home volleyball game, parents and students lined up in the hallway to watch a homecoming proposal where Cody Fields was holding a volleyball that read 'HC” and threw it to his soon-to-be date Maddison Hawtrey.
There was another creative homecoming proposal idea in the gym, with red solo cups in the net spelling out 'HC” and a big question mark on the floor made with volleyballs. Ian Malaby was standing there with a rose, waiting for Becca Ahrendsen, who said yes and hugged him.
These are just a few of the creative proposals happening at North Cedar.
