Cedar Rapids school board to review public poll results tonight

Members will review results from the Harris Interactive School Poll at tonight's Cedar Rapids school board meeting.
The poll was instituted by the district to gather information about the experiences and satisfaction levels of key students, teachers, staff and parents. The poll was first conducted in 2007 and again last spring.
Results from the fall 2009 administration of the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills and the Iowa Tests of Educational Development reading comprehension and mathematics subtests also will be reviewed.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. in the boardroom at the Educational Service Center @ Kingston.
