Cedar Rapids district adds new administrators
Pending board approval, Valerie Dolezal will become the Cedar Rapids Community School District's executive director for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
The school board is set to vote on whether to move Dolezal, who has been principal at Grant Elementary School since 2002, at the Monday, July 15 regular meeting. It is one of a few administrative changes the board will weigh in on at that meeting.
Monica Frey, a facilitator since 2006, is set to serve as Grant Elementary School's interim principal for the 2013-14 school year.
