Anamosa superintendent announces resignation
Dale Monroe, the superintendent of the Anamosa Community School District, resigned tonight.
The school board accepted the resignation, effective May 27.
The school board was meeting to discuss the possible construction of a middle school, by applying for federal stimulus funds and through the use of local-option sales tax dollars.
Voters have twice rejected a bond issue for a new middle school.
