A former Iowa City West High School paraeducator pleaded guilty to having a sexual relationship with a student. He would meet her near the school during the day and take her to a residence in Coralville for sexual contact. He faces up to 5 years, but will ask for a deferred judgment and probation.

With the opportunity for a tuition-free experience similar to a private school, the school’s rigorous focus on college preparation plans to offer quality through small classes, a small faculty-to-student ratio and one-on-one interactions that reinforce a tight-knit community throughout middle and high school.
