Lieutenant Colonel Paul M. Hlas has retired from the U.S. Army. Paul graduated from Jefferson High School in 1983 and was graduated from the
University of Northern Iowa in 1988. He later earned a Master's degree from Central Michigan College while serving in the Army. Paul served in Kuwait and Iraq. His duties also took him to
Korea. He has served several assignments at
various Army bases in the United States. Paul and his family will make their home in Lenexa, KS.
Paul is the son of Velma Hlas of Cedar Rapids and the late Ernie Hlas.
