On December 17, 2015, Nathan Hill earned his rank of Eagle Scout by completing his Board of Review with the Hawkeye Area Council. Nathan is a member of Troop 2 founded for youth with

special needs. Nathan earned his Eagle at age 15, being the first Scout to attain this coveted rank in the troop's recent history. Nathan's Eagle project benefited the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. He, his troop, and local volunteers from the community and WFLA located, uncovered, and recorded grave markers in two plot areas. Graves ranged back to the 1940s and the grave stones were restored and cleaned by the Scouts.
