Mclane David Rauch of Coggon achieved the rank of Eagle Scout on Sept. 8, 2022, with his Court of Honor ceremony being held on April 2, 2023.
To earn the rank of Eagle, a Scout must earn at least 21 merit badges and complete an Eagle project. Mclane has completed 30 badges. His troop leader is Don Gudenkauf and he is a member of Troop 501. Mclane is a senior at North Linn High School. He is the son of Mark and Lynne Rauch and grandson of Marilyn Dighton and the late David Dighton, Walter and Donna Rauch.
