Congratulations Matt Kime

Lieutenant Colonel Matt Kime has retired from the U.S. Army. Matt attended Roosevelt Middle School, was a 1992 Graduate of Jefferson High School, and was a 1996 Honors Graduate of the University of Iowa. He later earned an MBA from Webster University. Matt served multiple tours of duty in Germany, the U.S. Embassies in Prague, Czech Republic, and Kuwait. He was deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iraq. His duties took him across the Middle East and to Singapore. In the U.S., his assignments were to Arizona and the

Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City office. Matt and his family will make their home in Tampa, FL, where he has accepted a position in private

industry. Matt is the son of Jon and Donadel Kime of Cedar Rapids.
