She will serve a two-year term.
Also installed is membership director Linda Armitage.
Mission:
Advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research. The Cedar Rapids Area Branch was organized in 1927.
Among many events, our branch, along with the Grant Wood AEA, co-sponsors the Open Minds, Open Doors STEM conference in October at Coe College. It is to inspire middle-school girls to seek careers in
non-traditional fields.
