Cedar Rapids Follies Scholarship Recipients

The Cedar Rapids Follies is pleased to announce the 2021 recipients of the Follies Scholarships for the Arts. These named scholarships are in honor and memory of Gene Whiteman and Bob and Alo Geuder, and in honor of Damon Cole. The Gene Whiteman Scholarship was awarded to Ian Wolverton-Weiss. He graduated from George Washington High School and plans to attend St. Olaf College studying Vocal Performance. Amanda Grimm was awarded the Bob and Alo Geuder Scholarship. She is a graduate of Prairie High School and plans to attend Butler University studying Arts Administration. Lucas Lowder was awarded the Damon Cole Scholarship. He graduated from Xavier High School and plans to attend the University of Miami with plans to study Architecture and Vocal Performance. Congratulations to our scholars! We are so proud of all that you have accomplished and have yet to achieve. The Cedar Rapids Follies is honored to recognize these scholars who will carry on the legacy of our mission.
