Saturday, May 4, 2019 will be the 145th
Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs Race Track in Louisville, KY. Steve Buttleman of Louisville will be the bugler. He has been the bugler for 24 years, playing the "call to the post" before each horse race.
Steve graduated from Washington High School in Cedar Rapids in 1983. He is the son of Jim and Jerry Buttleman of Cedar Rapids.
