Larry Christy Retires
The Board of Directors of The Rotary Club of Cedar Rapids, on behalf of the entire membership, is deeply grateful to Larry Christy for his 22 years of dedication and service to the Club as Secretary/Treasurer, and wishes him all the best in his retirement.
His steady presence has provided the foundation on which the ever-changing volunteer Club leadership has been able to rely, ensuring both consistency over time and support for the steady growth and positive impact of our Club on the community.
As an ongoing recognition of Larry's service to the club, an annual award will be presented in his name to a club member whose service to the club is determined to be above and beyond. Larry himself was the inaugural recipient of "The Larry Christy Club Service Award" for 2014.
