Iowa State redshirt freshman Rocco Becht might have taken by far the most snaps at quarterback Friday night during the annual event that gives children with disabilities dozens of touchdown-scoring moments at Jack Trice Stadium, but that doesn’t mean he’s the No. 1 quarterback.
The Iowa State quarterback position looks to be as unsettled as it’s been since Matt Campbell’s first season in 2016 — and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Ankeny’s J.J. Kohl and Jamison Patton connected for six touchdowns this season. Both will soon bring high-end talent to their respective Iowa State football rooms.
