Iowans in the NBA: Quite a first full season for Monte Morris
Mike Hlas Apr. 16, 2019 1:13 pm
Monte Morris of Iowa State, who had played in just three NBA games before this season, averaged 10.4 points for the Denver Nuggets in the 2018-19 season.
That's pretty good.
Morris was a second-round draft pick of the Nuggets in 2017 and spent almost the entire season in the NBA G-League. He played in all 82 games this season for Denver, which had the second-best record in the Western Conference.
