Iowa State football vs. Baylor: Predictions, How to watch
The Gazette
Nov. 10, 2018 6:00 am
Iowa State is one game back of Big 12 co-leaders Oklahoma and West Virginia with three conference games to go and holds the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Mountaineers.
The 22nd-ranked Cyclones (5-3, 4-2) will try to keep pace when they host Baylor (5-4, 3-3) as 17-point favorites Saturday.
Here are predictions, pregame links and TV and streaming details for Saturday's game.
Predictions
Marc Morehouse — Iowa State wins. Iowa State 24, Baylor 14
Mike Hlas — As unbeaten starting quarterbacks go, you might rather have Alabama's Tuanigamanuolepola 'Tua' Tagovailoa. But I'll take the Cyclones' Brock Purdy, because I have to spell players' names correctly and you don't. Iowa State 30, Baylor 20
Jeff Johnson — Someone I know is so abhorred by Baylor's sleaziness over the previous decade, he said he hoped Iowa State would roll up 100 points on the Bears. So ... Iowa State 100, Baylor 0
Beth Malicki — I know more about real estate in Waco than I do in Cedar Rapids thanks to Joanna and Chip from HGTV. Am I alone? Iowa State 34, Baylor 24
Ben Visser — It's kinda weird going into an Iowa State football game knowing the Cyclones are the better team, but that's happened multiple times this year. Iowa State 35, Baylor 21
Todd Brommelkamp — Willie Nelson's alma mater was really good at football as recently as 2015. Funny how time slips away. Iowa State 44, Baylor 28
