The Gazette
Oct. 6, 2018 10:00 am
Iowa State hits the road again as a 9.5-point underdog at No. 21 Oklahoma State. The Cyclones (1-3, 0-2) are looking for their first Big 12 win Saturday against the Cowboys (4-1, 1-1) in the midst of a daunting conference schedule.
Predictions
Marc Morehouse — If Mike Gundy still has the mullet, it's the Cowboys all the way. I don't think he does, though. Ha, I'm an adult wondering if a coach has a mullet. Oklahoma State 24, Iowa State 21
Mike Hlas — If Mike Gundy coached an area college football team, I'd probably do a lot more writing about Ultimate Frisbee competition. Oklahoma State 24, Iowa State 14
Jeff Johnson — I was not one of those guys who prank called OSU Coach Mike Gundy during Monday's Big 12 coaches teleconference. Honest. Now Hlas on the other hand ... Oklahoma State 24, Iowa State 17
Beth Malicki — I treat these pick 'ems like others use Twitter, or notes to their friends on Post-its, or letters to the editor that never reach print. Oklahoma State 31, Iowa State 27
Ben Visser — Iowa State Coach Matt Campbell is not yet a man at only 38 years old — 40 seems to be the line which a person crosses into manhood, according to Oklahoma State Coach Mike Gundy. Oklahoma State 31, Iowa State 24
Todd Brommelkamp — Even Scott Hall thinks Mike Gundy is a bad guy. That's a WWE reference. Google it, Chico! Oklahoma State 37, Iowa State 28
