College Football Playoff rankings: Iowa State remains in top 25

Iowa State's Big 12 championship hopes were dashed with a 24-10 loss to Texas last week, but the College Football Playoff committee still has the Cyclones among the top 25 teams in the country.
Iowa State fell from No. 16 to No. 25 in this week's CFP rankings.
Once again, the top eight didn't change this week, with Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Michigan still Nos. 1-4, the only spots that matter for playoff purposes at the end of the season.
Central Florida, though, did jump Ohio State to No. 9. The Golden Knights are still undefeated at 10-0 and handeled then-No. 24 Cincinnati 38-13 last week.
Other Big Ten teams ranked are Penn State and West Division champion Northwestern at Nos. 18 and 19.
In the Big 12, Oklahoma is No. 6, West Virginia is No. 13 and Texas is 14th.
