AMES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa State says the Big 12 has moved a pair of conference road games next season in hopes of capitalizing on possible T.V. opportunities.
The Cyclones game at Oklahoma has been moved from Nov. 12 to Nov. 26.
Iowa State's game against Kansas State, which was supposed to be played on Nov. 26, will now be on Dec. 3.
The shift gives the Cyclones a pair of byes next season.
Iowa State will have the week before its Big 12 opener with Texas off and won't play the week prior to hosting Oklahoma State.
The moves could benefit the Cyclones, who didn't get a bye week in 2010.
Iowa State opens next season on Sept. 3 against Northern Iowa.
