Video: On Iowa Live talks Independence football after team’s first 4-0 start in 42 years

The Independence football team is 4-0 for the first time since 1973 after a 14-7 win over Waverly-Shell Rock on Friday.

Head Coach Justin Putz and eight Independence players joined On Iowa Live on Monday to talk about the program's turnaround.

It's Homecoming week for the No. 7-ranked Mustangs, who host Vinton-Shellsburg (2-2) Friday in a game that can be seen on KCRG 9.2.

On Iowa Live originates from 1st Ave. Draught House every Monday at 6:30 p.m. and is broadcast on KCRG 9.2.
