Video: On Iowa Live previews Regina, Solon Week 1 clash

The Iowa City Regina-Solon matchup has turned into one of the best rivalries in the state.

The Spartans ended the Regals' 56-game winning streak with a 29-28, overtime win in the season opener last year, and the two teams square off again in this year's season opener at Regina, a game that will be broadcast live on KCRG 9.2.

This year's version should be another dandy, as Solon enters the season ranked No. 7 in Class 3A, while five-time defending Class 1A champion Regina is No. 1 in the preseason poll.
